Amrita Rao Biography
Amrita Rao was born on 17 June 1981. She is an Indian model, and a Bollywood actress who made her cinematic debut in the 2002 film Ab Ke Baras, but gained recognition only after the success of her 2003 film, Ishq Vishk.
He latest movies is Rajshri production's Vivah - A Journey From Engagement To Marriage where she is in lead role with Shahid Kappor. This movie is also dubbed in telugu as Parinayam.
Vivah is Amrita Rao's and Shahid Kapoor's fourth film together. The others are Vaah! Life Ho Toh Aisi!, Shikhar and Ishq Vishk.
Amrita Rao — who’s known for her girl-next-door image — is all set to shock her fans with an image makeover in her forthcoming film My Name is Anthony Gonsalves.
The film that’s being directed by E Niwas and also stars newcomer Nikhil Dwivedi, will see the petite actress in a never-before avatar.
The pretty actress is touted to set pulses racing as she gyrates sexily to the dance number Tum Miley that will be choreographed by Ceasar of the Bosco-Ceasar fame.
Looking hot in a halter top and a mini skirt, Amrita looked a far cry from any of the roles she’s done so far. But wasn’t she apprehensive about doing the number since she’s so far maintained a squeaky-clean image? “I’ve never been averse to doing item numbers. It’s just that I never got offered the right ones,” she smiles.
