Dileep and Bhavana is back to the screen playing lovers in the AMMA’s multistarrer ‘Twenty-20’. This pair considered lucky by many in trade had been together in many hits starting from their 'C I D Moosa'.
Last time they produced a hit was in 'Chess' which appeared a couple of years ago. Bhavana's cameo in Dileep's latest 'Mulla' didn't workout in favor of the movie which was a losing proportion.
In ‘Twenty: 20’, Bhavana was forced to be in the role as a last time replacement to Meera Jasmine. Both Dileep and Bhavana are appearing as Medical students in the movie. Dileep's charcter is Karthick, the younger brother of the character played by Mohanlal while Bhavana lives as Priya .
Bhavana, during her tryst in Kollywood, had told her producers and directors that she prefers to do only roles in which she has to wear pavada dhavani or salwar. She’d tell them that back home in Kerala, she has a girl-next-door image and did not want to wear anything provocative. However, her song with Dileep on the beaches of Mauritus for Twenty 20 has raised quite a few eyebrows. In the rocking fast number, she is wearing a purple dress for the first time ever on screen.
The actress, who wants to go for an image-makeover, has never appeared in such a bold and glamorous costume before. The romantic song was shot by ace cameraman Sukumaran and choreographed by Sujatha, a former assistant of Brinda. The big question now is — will she change her dress code for Tamil fims in future?
