Rumours of Britney Spears spending the night with her assistant Shannon Funk are doing the rounds but Funk is denying them.
Britney Spears might have invited Mike Encinias for a topless frolic in the pool, but it was a girl that she spent the night with.
The news comes from a close friend of the singer who told a magazine that it was not a man who the singer bedded the same night, but Shannon Funk, her assistant for three of the most tumultuous weeks in the her life.
"That boy who claims he went back to hang out with Britney and hook up with her? No, that's not what happened," a newspaper quoted, the pal, as saying.
"Instead of hooking up with him, Funk ended up being in Brit's room and bed," the pal added. However, Funk, who has also been subpoenaed by Federline's lawyer, denies getting down and dirty with Spears, and insists that she will do all that she can to protect her.
"I love that girl. I will do what I can to protect her. But honestly I have nothing negative to say about Britney. I'm on Team Britney ! I support her no matter what. Kevin's a bad father ," she told the newspaper.
It was earlier reported that, Britney Spears likes lovemaking with men and women equally. The American magazine In Touch Weekly used the cover in Feb 2007, to 'out' Britney. According to the report, insiders tell In Touch exclusively that the mother of two has been living a secret life of wild sex long before her marriage ended. According to some unverified report Britney was into threesomes and girls. Britney used to invite a bunch of girlfriends over to the couple's house to party. Over the course of the night, Britney would often disappear into a bedroom with her girlfriends.
A friend says that Kevin plans to use tales of Britney’s secret sexual exploits and drug use in his battle for custody of their sons, Sean Preston, 17 months, and Jayden, 5 months. “She has told Kevin more than once that she is sexually attracted to women and men equally,” says the pal. “He wants to show that she’s not such an angel after all.”
