Jagathy Sreekumar Biography

Jagathy Sreekumar was born on January 5, 1950 in Jagathy, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. Jagathy was a Class V student at Model School in Thiruvananthapuram when he first got the opportunity to act in a play. By the time he joined Mar Ivanios College, Thiruvananthapuram he had become an experienced theatre person.

While working as a medical representative in Chennai that he chanced upon the role of a comedian in `Chattambi Kalyani.' This earned him recognition. Jagathy Sreekumar started his film carear in his younger age. From that he proved himself as a inevitable part of the Malayalam film industry.Whatever the roles to be given, it is safe in the hands of jagathy sreekumar. He has few equals when it comes to comedy.
