Meera Jasmine was recently seen with Mandaloin maestro U Rajesh. That triggered the recent rumours about her marriage. As Meera is one of the popular actresses of Kollywood, Malluwood, Tollywood and Kannada film industry, her love affair and consequent confirmation of her ‘friendship’ with Rajesh have made many producers jittery.
Meera Jasmine hit out at the media for making a big issue out of her alleged marriage with U Rajesh, Mandolin Srinivas's brother. Meera Jasmine vehemently denied the rumours that they married in Tirupati. A section of websites and publications carried the reports that she indeed married the mandolin player. The reports said that they were married and living together at her Chennai residence.
The actresses PRO informed her of the reports. When Meera Jasmine knew about this when she was in Kolkata. She said, "I deny all these reports. All these are baseless rumours. Some members of the press have been continually trying to frame me by publishing these reports. I don't understand why they do these things. All these reports have upset me a lot. I'm telling you now - I have not anybody so far."
The National Award winning actress Meera Jasmine has, reportedly, revealed that she would not marry Mandolin U Rajesh till her on-going film commitments are over.
Meera Jasmine’s manager told producers not to worry about her marriage she would not marry for two years. “I’ll not marry for two years, uncle,” she, reportedly, told a well known producer of Kerala, whom she respects. She said right now she has many Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam films to complete.
Sources drop a hint that a couple of producers in Tamil and Telugu even changed their minds about casting Meera in their new productions. They would cast a different heroine for their films.
Worried a little about Meeera’s blossoming love, Grihalakshmi Films, a well-known banner of Malayalam film industry, is rushing through a project with Meera as the actress. The producer is now desperately trying to quicken the pace of work so that the project finishes before she is married.
So for sometimes the producers may relax. But who can predict a tale of love. How long she stays out of wedlock, is for the destiny to decide.
