Pooja Chitgopekar Biography
A doctor, a model, a television anchor, a beauty queen, Pooja Chitgopekar has a lot on her plate. Currently pursing her MBBS from University of Auckland, this New Zealnd based beauty has won the Miss India New Zealand (2002) contest, Miss India Worldwide (2003) (1st runner up) and Miss Auckland (2002) (1st runner up). Pooja Chitgopekar has walked the ramp for the New Zealand Fashion Week as well as anchored a show on television.
Femina Miss India, Pooja hopes will give her the platform to express her thoughts and opinions and give her the experience that will enable her to grow as a person. Pooja Chitgopekar wishes to be a role model for the youth and hopes that her experiences of life will help her do that.
Determined, optimistic, ambitious, honest, hardworking, bubbly, approachable and compassionate is how Pooja describes herself. Trained in jazz ballet and piano Pooja Chitgopekar enjoys indulging herself in these activities along with doing yoga, swimming, reading, traveling and playing tennis.
The ideal Miss India according to her should be compassionate person who should be able to relate to people of all age and class. She should be able to think on her feet and have a broad outlook towards life.
