Rajpal Yadav Biography
He belongs to the Shahjahanpur District of Uttar Pradesh. He has a fan base in India and throughout the world. He is best known for his eccentric comedy and violent villain roles.
Yadav started out working in films produced by Ram Gopal Varma and made his debut in the 1999 film Mast. Films that brought him recognition were Jungle, Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya, Chandni Bar, Company, Road and Main Madhuri Dixit Banna Chahti Hoon. Rajpal Yadav does the lead role in this film. Although the film centres on Antara Mali, Yadav plays the friend who helps her realise her dream. Most of his films were either produced or directed by Varma.
When Rajpal Yadav was a young boy, he was interested in nautanki (rural dance drama). Rajpal used to participate in school programmes and during his BA(Bachelor of Arts), I joined a theatre group in Shahjahanpur and worked there for two-three years. By the time Rajpal was admitted at the Bharatiya Natya Akademi, he was 100 per cent sure that hewanted to be a part of films.
In 2005 he played the leading role and wrote the screenplay for the film Main, Mere Patni Aur Woh which got him positive reviews. He also got acclaim for his comic roles in movies like Hungama, Waqt: The Race Against Time, Malamaal Weekly and Chup Chup Ke.
He has received best villian award for his performance in Masti.
