On August 28, 2011 at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards, Knowles announced that she and Jay-Z are expecting their first child. She made the announcement during her red carpet appearance and again at the end of her performance of “Love on Top”.

In newly-released behind-the-scenes footage from her “Countdown” video shoot, she tells fans she’s actually much further along.

In the short clip, filmed in September, Beyonce holds up a copy of the day’s New York Daily News featuring a photo of her pregnant self with the headline, ‘Oh baby!’.
