Heidi Klum Biography
Heidi Klum was born on June 1, 1973 in West Germany. She has a very celebrated carrier as a popular actress, Fashion Designer, Television Producer/presenter amd singer.
Klum has been on the cover of most of the well-known fashion magazines including Vogue Magazine, ELLE and Marie Claire. She became widely known after appearing on the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue and for her work with Victoria's Secret. She has been a spokesmodel for McDonald's, Braun, H & M, and Liz Claiborne, among others. She is currently the latest celebrity spokesmodel for Jordache. In addition to modeling, she has appeared in several TV shows, including Spin City, Sex and the City, and Yes, Dear. She had a role as an ill-tempered hair model in the movie Blow Dry, played a giantess in the movie Ella Enchanted and was cast as Ursula Andress in The Life and Death of Peter Sellers. She also had a small cameo appearance in The Devil Wears Prada and Perfect Stranger.
In July 2007, earning at an estimated total of $8 million in the past 12 months, Forbes named her third in the list of the World's 15 Top-Earning Supermodels.
Heidi Klum Personal life
Klum married celebrity hairstylist Ric Pipino on September 6, 1997. The couple divorced in November 2002. Following the divorce she had brief relationships with Red Hot Chili Peppers lead singer Anthony Kiedis and Formula One manager Flavio Briatore.
In the Autumn of 2003 she became pregnant with Flavio Briatore's child. On the day Klum announced the pregnancy, Briatore was photographed kissing Fiona Swarovski, a jewelery heiress. Klum and Briatore split up shortly thereafter. On May 4, 2004, she gave birth to a daughter, Helene "Leni" Klum, who was named after Klum's grandmother.
Around the same time of the birth, Heidi began a relationship with musician Seal. Klum and Seal married May 10, 2005, on a beach in Mexico. They have had two children together, both sons: Henry Günther Ademola Dashtu Samuel, born September 12, 2005 and Johan Riley Fyodor Taiwo Samuel born November 22, 2006.
Supermodel Heidi Klum insists that there will not be any more additions to hubby Seal and her family for the time being because they just don't have enough space in their house.
The German supermodel is mum to three kids -- three-year old daughter Leni with Italian Formula 1 boss Flavio Briatore, and two sons, Henry, one, and Johan, eight months, with British soul singer Seal.
And with the kids growing up fast, Klum admits that their house is so full that Seal and she have decided not to have any more children. Klum, after having three children in the space of just two and a half years, said that giving birth was 'easy'. She also revealed that her husband likes her when she's pregnant.
Supermodel Heidi Klum is so determined to give her children a stable life that she refuses to work outside LA.
The beauty is turning down well-paid jobs that require a lot of travelling, because she wants to spend as much time as she can with her family. She says, “Earlier, it was all about me. Now it’s about the children".
Heidi Klum and Fashion
Klum has designed her own clothing lines (including one for infants) that were featured in the German mail-order catalog "Otto." She also has designed shoes for Birkenstock, jewelry for Mouawad, and swimsuits – featured in the 2002 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue – that, for a limited time, were available for sale through her personal website. She was one of the designers of the Victoria's Secret lingerie line "The Body", which was named after the nickname she received following her first Victoria's Secret Fashion Show appearance. Her Mouawad jewelry collection debuted on the cable shopping network QVC on September 14, 2006, and 14 of the 16 styles sold out after only 36 minutes. A second line of her jewelry collection debuted on QVC on April 14, 2007, with similar success.
She has produced two fragrances, called "Heidi Klum" and "Me", which are currently available for sale through her official website.
She was also involved in the development of a namesake rose, the Heidi Klum rose, which is available in Germany.
Heidi Klum Nude Sundays
The German supermodel is planning to follow in Christina Aguilera’s footsteps and spend one day a week as nature intended.
She says, “You know Christina Aguilera has ‘naked Sundays’? I might have to copy her and do that.” Heidi and her Crazy singer husband — who have two sons, Henry, Johan, as well as Heidi’s daughter Leni from a previous relationship — recently also revealed that baby Johan is ruining their sex life.
Seal said, “Our youngest is now 11-months-old, so I’ve told Heidi we’re booting him out of the bedroom. I’m not having it any more. This is the longest time I’ve known Heidi without her being pregnant. She’s got her body back and it is real good fun!”
