Namitha all set to for English film!
The super sensuous glamor doll of Kollywood is reported to have signed an English movie. One falls short of adjectives in describing the beauty and sex appeal of Namitha , one of the top heroines in Tamil cinema. Recently seen in Pacha Kuthirai , Namitha is now gearing up to act in an English film.
The film, titled ‘Maya’, will be produced by Gregory Constante and directed by Eric Manning.
It would be wrong to call the movie a Hollywood project, as its director and producer have been associated with only small cinematic ventures in the past.
According to IMDB.com, Eric Manning has directed a short film, a suspense thriller called ‘The Inside Job’, while Gregory Constante has produced a video film titled ‘Perfumed Garden-Tales of Kamasutra’.
During a press conference on 9th Aug 2006, Namitha said that, English film Maya is shaping up well, while she is assigned to act in a movie to be directed by Nagesh Kukunoor. The actress has been assigned to act with actor-director S J Suryah for his Vyapari.
The ebullient busty babe is quoted in a media report: “It is a great joy to act in an English movie at such an early stage of my career. It is a heroine centric movie and I would certainly leave an impression in the film.”
‘Maya’ will be based on story written by noted Tamil film historian Randor Guy alias Rangadurai. The film will be made under the banner of Global One Studios. The film will have Chennai-based ace cinematographer Ashok Kumar cranking the camera.
Namitha says, 'Post Pachchakkuthirra, my career has taken a upward swing and she has proved that she can also perform on screen'.
Namitha says, 'I want to do varied roles and establish a place for myself in the industry'.
