Jennifer Kotwal Biography
Jennifer Kotwal was born in Mumbai. She did her studies in Economics at HR College in Mumbai. While at college she got chance to appear in commercial ads for noodles with Shah Rukh Khan and Chyavanprash with Amitabh Bachchan. Also she did some ads for Lakme. She has worked with some TV programmes for Sony and Zee TV.
These photo shots taken during the ads opened the door for film industry. Some of those photographs later landed up at Ramoji Rao Productions, who offered Jennifer Kotwal a role in a Telugu film. It was by sheer luck that Jennifer Kotwal got to do film Jogi. Jennifer Kotwal could penetrate to the minds of youths with her sexy figure and shining skin. She is quite glamarous, as you can see Jennifer Kotwal is ever ready to show her assests for the camera.
'Mumbai-based model Jennifer Kotwal became a sensation in Karnataka after her Jogi, with Shivaraj Kumar, became the biggest hit in the history of Kananda cinema. Released last year, the film directed by Prem went on to create new box office records. The level of its success did surprise Jennifer Kotwal also. Jogi is her first Kannada film. She followed Jogi with Sree, a film that didn't create any waves. In this, Jennifer Kotwal appeared in the role of a software engineer working in Bangkok.
Now Jennifer is back, teaming up with Ravichandran in Ugadi, and Upendra in an untitled film, earlier called Maasthi. In Ugadi, Jennifer Kotwalplay the younger of two sisters who are both deeply in love with the hero. It is an emotional role, but glamorous.
Jennifer Kotwal says that , it was an amazing opportunity for me to work with two such big artists in ads. Both have terrific sense of humour and both of them are down to earth. Amitabhji was extremely nice to all of us and there was no pressure on me the two days I worked with him. Shah Rukh Khan is a fantastic co-star.
Jennifer Kotwal and Kaamna Jethmalani are playing the female leads in the movie Ugadi , the remake of a Telugu film. Kaamna Jethmalani, the granddaughter of well-known advocate Ram Jethmalani, made her debut into acting with the Telugu movie Premikulu. The two will now been seen together in Ugadi. 'Crazy' Ravichandran plays the lead role for Ugadi, to be directed by Sai Prakash. The duo has worked together in Odahuttidavalu and Neelakanta. Telugu star Srikanth will play a pivotal role in the film. The movie, to be produced by Ganesh and Praveen, will be shot in Bangalore, Sagar and Switzerland . R.P. Patnaik helms the music and H.C. Venu handles the camera. Two songs from the original Telugu film will be retained according to reports.
