Kavya Madhavan
Popular actress Kavya Madhavan was named the Kerala State award for best actress for film “Gatama”. Reacting to this Kavya Said, “This should be seen as an award for the entire film unit,”.
This is the second time she is getting the Best Actress Award. Earlier she won the state award for her performance in Perumazhakkalam
in 2004. Kavya Madhavan entered the film industry as a child artist. She learned dancing during her school days and participated in competitions. She was a Kalathilakam in a Sub District Schools Youth Festival.
Kavya Madhavan married Nishal Chandra in February 2009, but shortly after filed for divorce. They divorced in June 2010.
Salim Kumar won the Kerala State award for Best Actor for his role as Abu in Adaminte Makan Abu for the year 2010.
