Khushboo Biography
Kushboo was born on 29 September 1970 in Bombay, Kushboo has a brother named Abdullah S. Khan. She acts in all South Indian languages Tamil, Kannada, Telugu and Malayalam. She is married to director Sundar C and has two daughters.
As a child artist Kushboo did her debut ppearance in Thodisi Bewafaii in 1980, a Hindi film. Her first major role was in Laawaris in 1981. Kushboo was introduced to South Indian by the Kannada actor-director Ravichandran. She has acted in many movies with him notably Ranadheera(1987), Anjada Gandu, Shanthi Kranthi and Yugapurusha. Later migrating to south and she shared credit in many hit films with Rajni, starting with Dharmathin Thalaivan. The Khushboo-Rajni pair was the best in the 1992 film Annamalai, one of the three most successful films of director Suresh Krissna. Both displayed great comic timing in many scenes like Rajni trying to chase away the snake in Khushboo's hotel room and in the dream sequence with Rajni featuring as a prince, milkman and thief. Khushboo's last film with Rajnikanth was Pandiyan.
Kushboo have done many roles opposite popular Tamil actors like Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan and Prabhu. She is known for her TV show Jackpot and her serial Kalki.
During an Interview in 2005 Kushboo said, it was fine for girls to have pre-marital sex - but not without taking precautions to prevent pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases. Later, she added that no educated man should expect his wife or girlfriend to be a virgin.

Khushboo Trouble again
Actress Khushboo, is again getting into trouble. This time Khushboo was caught "wearing chappals" in front of idols of goddesses at a film muhurat in Chennai. Gurumurthy, a Hindu Munnani activist, lodged a complaint before a civil court here on Wednesday, alleging that Khushboo was seen sitting with her chappals in front of idols of Lakshmi, Saraswathy and Parvathy, during pooja for the muhurat at Chennai on November 22.
The photograph was published in a Tamil Weekly recently and her action had hurt the sentiments of the Hindus, Gurumurthy said in his complaint. He wanted the court to take action against her under section 295 and 295(A) of the IPC for hurting religious sentiments.
Khushboo was earlier caught in a series of legal tangles for advocating sex education to girls at schools. Khushboo had a temple built by her fans in Madurai. The same has been demolished after the controversy on her remarks.
