Namitha Biography

Namitha, the most glamorous and daring girl of kollywood was born and brought up in Mumbai. Namitha’s dad is a businessman and her mom is a housewife. She was born on 10th May , 1971. Namitha is basically a malayalee and her entry into films was through a Malayalam movie directed by Siddhique. She was also th e runner up in the Miss India contest held in 2001. This paved the way for Namitha to the Telugu Industry. Her Nick name is Bitti. She has won theMiss Surat contest at the age of 16. Namitha was choosen as Miss Fitness and Miss Best Personality also.

Namitha did some local TV advertisements of Prakash Jewellers & Ria Sarees. Also did catalogue for “Hi-Shine sarees and dresses”. Her entry to the kollywood industry was through Engal Anna. It was Siddhique again who introduced Namitha in Kollywood through the film Engal Anna. While Namitha was doing the movie Engal Anna she got an offer for the film Aei in which she paired with actor Sarath Kumar. Her next movie Englishkaran was with actor Sathyaraj. Once again Namitha paired with actor Sarath Kumar in the film Chanakya. Namitha’s dance is the song “Arjuna Arjuna” stole the hearts of the youth.

Namitha enjoys reading books and comics. Her favorite author is Sidney Sheldon. Her other hobbies include swimming and playing badminton. Namitha also loves dancing and watching movies. Tabu and Nandita Das are her favorite heroines. Her favorite co stars are Vijayakanth and Sarath Kumar. Namitha loves traveling and visiting new places. Namitha is an open hearted person with a high sense of confidence in her. Namitha is a lover of white roses, birds and animals. Her favorite colors are white and black.

Soft music and humorous people turns her on. When asked Namitha said, she would like to choose Vishwanathan Anand for a blind date. Happy dating Namitha!

Namith’s favourite Night Activity is, thinking about the events of the day and cuddling my teddy bear. Realy! She loves Panjabi food, and is a fan of Mariah Carey.

Namitha has also captured the attention of Telugu movie lovers. Her performance in the movies Sontam and Gemini fascinated the Telugu audience. Her other Telugu films include Nayakudu, Manthirikudu Maharaju and SP Nayak. In some cases we can see very glamarous pictures of Namitha. Namitha is very found of tennies. She might had turned into another Sania Mirza if she was not into films.
