Nayanthara Biography
Nayanthara was born on 8th November 1984 at Thiruvalla, Kerala, India. Nayantara means "star eyes". Nayan thara's parents, Kurian and Omana Kodiyattu, are settled in Kerala, after her father retired from the defense service. She has one brother, Lenu, who lives in Dubai. Completed her B.A. in Literature. Was not able to continue with her C.A. studies though due to her film commitments.
At just the age of 21 years, Keralite Nayanthara has acquired the reputation of acting opposite male actors who are almost twice as old. She starred in her first Malyalam film opposite Jayaram, and then in "Chandramukhi" with renowned Indian actor Rajnikanth, then with other aging actors like Sarath Kumar, Mohanlal, and Mammotty. Now she has been cast to play the lead role in a much younger Simbu's directorial debut, in which he also has the lead role. Nayanthara and Simbu's intimate life-sized Nayanthara sexy posters created shock waves in Chennai. However these Nayanthara sexy photos were pulled down by the police. Reportadly Nayanthara has agreed to do another item number in Telungu movie 'Stalin' directed by Murugadoss. Chiranjeevi is the hero of this film. Her item numbers in both ‘Ghajini’ and Sivakasi had become remendously popular. Earlier Nayanthara had vowed not to do item numbers after the raw deal she got in the AR Murugadoss-directed Ghajini.
Ready to do glamour roles is Nayantra, who says an actress has to do any kind role. Doing glamour roles is no harm unless it doesn't portray me in a obscene way'.
