Sameera Reddy Biography
Sameera Reddy is one of the sexiest actresses in Bollywood. Sameera Reddy became popular with Pankaj Udhas’s music video ‘Aahista’. She did the video when she was in college at the age of 17. As teenager she was very plumb girl. However things changed as she started working out. Now she is one of the sexiest successful bollywood actress.
Sameera Reddy’s debut film is ‘Maine Dil Tujhko Diya’. She has done some modeling for international brand “Lissome”. Her debut movie was not successful, how ever she got other chances before the release of the first movie.
Then she got a good break with Ram Gopal Varma’s ‘Darna Mana Hai’. Sameera Reddy’s sizzling dance in its title song is widely appreciated even today. Her image changed altogether with release of ‘Musafir’ directed by Sanjay Gupta. ‘Musafir’ is still considered to be the hottest film in Bollywood. In Musafir Sameera shares the screen presence with senior stars Sunil Shetty, Anil Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt and Mahesh Manjrekar. In this movie she is playing the wanton wife of 45-year-old Sanjay Dutt. Musafir turned her to an ultimate sex symbol. This film included a kissing scene between Sameera Reddy and Anil Kapoor.
Sameera also did couple of films down south, one of them with Telugu superstar Chiranjeevi. Both were huge hits. She also did a Bengali film ‘Kalpurush’ with renowned director Buddhadev Dasgupta. ‘Kalpurush’ is perhaps her best work so far and her performance bowled over even her worst critics. She also did few Hindi films like ‘Taxi Number 9211’, ‘No Entry’ and latest ‘Naksha’. Sameera is lending her voice to Sita in Mahayoddha Rama, the animation film which is directed by Raizada Rohit Jaisingh Vaid.
She has two sibling sisters, Meghna Reddy and Sushma Reddy, both popular models and VJ’s. Following Sameera, Sushma also entered film field. Sushma Reddy made her acting debut with the film Chocolate. Her other elder sister is Meghna Reddy.
She loves swimming, dancing and playing video games. And she cannot do without working out in the gym. Yoga is another one of her favorite activity. She absolutely hates fatty and fried foods. Sameera’s is also a trained Kathak dancer.
Also She is the only Bollywood actress who has a video game to her credit. Though she hasn't acknowledged any, her name has been associated with many, including celebrities, director Sanjay Gupta and Telugu actor Junior NTR prominent among them. However when asked about her affair Sameera says, " If these link-ups were true, how would I have the time to finish all the work I have been doing this year? Forget romance, I don’t have time to breathe. I have been shooting nonstop. I would love to fall in love someday, but as of now, I am very much single, with no time to mingle".
She made a guest appearance on the British show Casualty.

Sameera Reddy has been linked with her co-star NTR Junior, director Sanjay Gupta and a European DJ. Recently she was spotted in Goa with a hunk Shamshul Lalani. Ask her whether we hear the wedding bells in the near future and she is quick to reply, "I just don't like to comment on my personal life. I am concentrating on my career right now." Rubbishing the rumours, she adds, "I fail to understand from where such gossip emanates and I want to put these rumours to rest."
