'Thalaimagan' is the 100th film for Sarath Kumar. In Thalaimagan, Sarath Kumar's hundredth film, the actor commemorates the occasion by turning both director and singer. The movie is produced by his wife Radhika. The movie is an action thriller. Sharath Kumar plays the role of a journalist. The movie directed by R.D.Balaji, is expected to have good action sequences that will attract the fans of Sharath Kumar.

Nayanthara and Sharath Kumar in Thalimagan According to Sharath Kumar, "'Thalaimagan' has a good storyline and script written by the director. The technicians are handling the movie perfectly". Nayanatara is playing the female lead in the movie. Seema Biswas who played the role of Phoolan Devi in 'Bandit Queen' is playing the role of a police officer in the movie.

Prakash Raj plays one of the key roles in the movie. Vadivelu's comedy is expected to be one of the highlights of the movie. The music is rendered by the debutant music director J.Paul. Let's hope that this would be a hit. The movie is releasing soon.

The album with six tracks is a youth-oriented sizzler. The intro-song Penakkara (journalist) is a lively foot-tapping number. Vairamuthu's lyrics are rendered in a bubbly fashion by Kailaskar, Yogeswari & co.

Next is the duet Deen tena sung by S P Balasubramanyam and Chinmayi. Starting with a shloka, the song gathers tempo and turns into a love-duet, oozing more passion than sentimentality. Not surprising, considering glamourous Nayantara is in the female lead!
